Last night’s (7/16) episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on USA Network drew a 1.96 rating, which represents a rebound from the 1.73 last week. It’s the second highest ratings since Apr. 30. This is a typical boost the day after a PPV.

The ten-week rolling average headed into this week was 1.85. The average so far this month is 1.83, below the 1.88 last month and 1.86 two months ago and well below the 2.33, 2.22, 2.18, and 2.29 ratings the first four months of the year.

One year ago Raw drew a 2.15 rating this week. Two years ago it drew a 2.22 rating.

The first hour drew 3.188 million viewers, the second hour dropped to 2.859 million, and the third hour dropped even more to 2.622 million.

In another ratings note, for the week of July 2-8, Raw’s three hours ranked no. 5, 6, and 8 among all cables in the key 18-49 adult demo. There were only two shows that drew more overall viewers – Brazil vs. Begium in a World Cup match on FS1 and Time Machine on History’s “Car Week.” So while Raw drew a rating last week among the all-time lowest for the series dating back to the 1990s, the viewership was the third best among all cable program stat week.
