SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

SHOW SUMMARY: In this edition of the Wade Keller Hotline, we flash back to three Wade Keller Hotlines from ten years ago this week with Hotlines from May 25, 2009, May 26, 2009, May 28, 2009, and May 31, 2009. The May 25 Hotline features Keller’s analysis of the May 26th flat edition of Raw with, well, almost nothing redeeming about the show. A crowded ten-man tag closed out the show, a horrible self-indulgent skit opened the show, and mid-card fluff with overly short matches filled the show. Then the May 26 hotline features his “News Wrap” format with the headlines of the day and his analysis of those headlines including stories on Drama, Torrie in Jungle, Raw Fallout, Taker Update, Cena Complains, Storm Returns, Flair’s Next Role, TNA ratings. Then the May 28 episode features another “News Wrap” format with the headlines of the day and his analysis of those headlines including Triple H and Jim Ross commenting on the inevitability of Ric Flair returning to the ring, our details on what that return will be and whom he’ll wrestle and for how much, Bobby Lashley takes a dig at being forced out of WWE, plus Raw ratings and ECW ratings for the week. And finally, the May 31 episode features another “News Wrap” format with the headlines of the day and his analysis of those headlines including exclusive details on the Mr. Kennedy situation including the likely reason he was let go involving Randy Orton, his attitude toward his future, what big name’s days in TNA are numbered which could open up salary space for Ken this fall, why Ken is likely to be free to join TNA sooner than Bobby Lashley was, what he’s already looking into doing this summer, analysis of Jim Ross’s comments on Ken’s departure, analysis of our Kennedy poll results, and more on him. Also, will TNA break their policy of pushing mainly stars from the 1990s with Ken, and what example is there that destroys that Jarrett/Russo theory. Also, what do people in TNA say is the reason Jarrett pushes himself so hard and rationalizes it with such malarky as “only stars from the ’90s draw.” Notes on new additions, some recent departures, and a potential mid-card departure this summer.
