Sharmelle announced for WWE Hall of Fame class for 2022

WWE has revealed the latest member of its Hall of Fame class for 2022.

Sharmelle will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. She will join Vader and Undertaker in the 2022 Hall of Fame class. Sharmelle’s inclusion in this year’s class was first reported by Complex. 

“I was so happy,” Sharmell told Complex after she found out she was going to be inducted this year. “I didn’t even know what to say. It was an unexpected, great surprise—a welcome surprise.”

Sarmelle is best known as a valet for her husband Booker T in WWE and TNA. She got her start in pro wrestling in the 90s as a Nitro Girl in WCW. She joins Booker in the WWE Hall of Fame. He has been inducted twice going in as a singles wrestler in 2013 and as a member of the Harlem Heat tag team in 2019.

Sharmell currently helps Booker run the Reality of Wrestling training school and promotion.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on April 1 after Smackdown in Dallas, Tex.. It will air live on the Peacock streaming sercice.
