Brock Lesnar’s night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles ended with WWE’s medical team treating him for a gash on top of his head.

According to WWE’s website, Lesnar received nine staples to close the cut following the Hell in a Cell main event match against The Undertaker on Sunday night.

Both men bled heavily from the forehead area during the match, which is atypical for WWE in the current era where blood is rare during a match.

– WWE released black & white photos of Lesnar’s gash and treatment on their website.
