ROH World champion Jay Lethal’s match set for April 30

Ring of Honor announced Sunday the match for ROH World champion Jay Lethal at the final show of the month.

Jay Lethal will face Vinny Marseglia in a “Championship Challenge” non-title match on April 30 in West Warwick, Rhode Island. ROH is marketing the match as a local wrestler attempting to beat the ROH champion.

Rhode Island will bridge the gap to ROH’s Global Wars PPV on May 8.

Saturday, April 23 – San Antonio, Texas

  • Main Event: ROH World champion Jay Lethal vs. Moose vs. Roderick Strong vs. A.C.H. vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. Jay Briscoe in a six-way match. If one of the five non-champions scores the fall, he receives an instant ROH Title shot against Lethal. If Lethal scores the fall, no one gets a title shot.
  • Street Fight: Adam Page vs. B.J. Whitmer
  • The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) vs. Motor City Machineguns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin)
  • Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) vs. Cheeseburger & Delirious
