Gable Steveson got physical in a WWE ring for the first time ever at WrestleMania 38.

After RK-Bro defeated The Street Profits and Alpha Academy to retain their WWE Raw Tag Team Championship, Riddle and Randy Orton were asked to share some Solo cup drinks with Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. They obliged and invited Steveson into the ring to join them.

Steveson hopped the barricade and took a cup, but it was immediately slapped out of his hands by a disgruntled Chad Gable. RK-Bro and Street Profits left the ring for Steveson to handle his business. Gable started to talk, but Steveson snatched the mic from his hand. He then tried to speak, but Gable stole the mic back. Gable started to talk again, but this time, Steveson grabbed Gable and crushed him with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Steveson then drank with RK-Bro and Street Profits as Gable writhed in pain.

Steveson is a two-time NCAA Champion in freestyle wrestling. He signed with WWE after winning the gold medal last year as part of WWE’s NIL program. In the fall of 2021, Gable was drafted to Monday Night Raw a part of the WWE Draft. He has not officially made his debut with the company.

At night one of WrestleMania, Steveson also made a special appearance. Stephanie McMahon walked to the top of the stage during the show and introduced Steveson to the 70,000 people in attendance. Steveson walked out, stood beside her, and acknowledged the audience with a few waves before returning to the backstage area.
