WWE announces Jerry Lawler suspended indefinitely

WWE announced Friday morning that Jerry Lawler has been “suspended indefinitely” following his arrest Thursday night/early Friday morning in Memphis.

According to police, Lawler and his fiancee Lauryn McBride were involved in a physical altercation at their home that led to police being called to the scene. (Full Details)

“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Jerry Lawler has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest,” WWE announced.

Lawler and McBride were both jailed and are scheduled for court on Monday morning.

Lawler was advertised for WWE’s Money in the Bank PPV pre-show Sunday night in Las Vegas.

Lawler was also scheduled for next Tuesday’s Smackdown TV taping in Arizona.
