SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Last night’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on USA Network drew a 1.93 rating among live and same-night-DVR viewers. That is down slightly from last week’s 1.97 rating and the same as two weeks ago. It is below the rolling ten week average of 2.11 and below the 2017 average of 2.11. One year ago, Raw drew a 1.92 rating.

The first hour drew 2.945 million viewers. Viewership then dropped to 2.756, and then dropped again to 2.619. The first-to-third hour dropoff was 326,000, which is above the yearly average of 222,000. The third hour began with Roman Reigns vs. The Miz in progress and closed with an in-ring Enzo promo for the second week in a row.

Keller’s Analysis: Not too much to derive from this data as the viewing pattern wasn’t too off the usual beaten path. The first hour viewership of 2.945 is the first time since July 3 viewership began under 3 million. It occurred regularly between Apr. 24 and July 3. The fact that they’ve been comfortable putting Enzo in the final segment and that it’s holding the audience well enough to not be a disaster compared to usual gives them the flexibility to not overexpose other proven top main event stars.
