A PREVIEW OF THE END”

This Sunday in Boston Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will be in the fight for their lives. It was only a week ago that Shane McMahon informed the Canadians that if they were to lose their Clash of Champions bout against Shinsuke and the Viper, they would be out of a job for good. General Manager Daniel Bryan was not a fan of Shane’s hostile decision, and if anyone understands the abuse of power taken by a McMahon, it’s D.B. As for tonight, a small taste of the clash to come. This isn’t the first time that Shinsuke and K.O. have gone one-on-one, but if my memory serves me correctly, the last time this happened it ended with a Kinshasa to Kevin’s meaty grill. Here’s to hoping that we get another exciting matchup ahead of Sunday’s probable main event.

ONE LAST GRASP FOR THE PRINCE”

The saga of the once supreme “Modern Day Maharaja” may be winding to its inevitable conclusion. No matter how you feel about Jinder Mahal, I find it necessary to give him a bit of credit for performing at a level that he was not previously use to. It helps when you are going up against the literal best in the world A.J. Styles, who comes face-to-face with the former champion tonight on SD Live. Jinder will be finishing this fight on his own since he seemingly dispatched of his lackey Singh brothers when they both were defeated by the Phenomenal One in handicap-action. Will this be the swan song of what has been a very forgettable title reign for Mahal? Or will the Indo-Canadian superstar find a way to recapture the prestigious gold? He had a problem defeating a VERY OLD Triple H in front of his countrymen recently, so who knows anymore.

PAWNS LIVING IN A WORLD OF QUEENS”

I think it’s safe to say that the entirety of the WWE’s main roster Women’s Division is somewhat scatterbrained. Two factions have taken ahold of Monday and Tuesday nights and the crew that has been there solidly for years can’t seem to get their number. Smackdown in particular was taken over by Ruby Riot(t), Sarah Logan, and Liv Morgan, and when they work together as a team they seem unbeatable to any combination thrown at them. That will most likely continue tonight considering their opponents for the evening are Carmella, Tamina, and Lana, not exactly the A-team of Tuesday Nights. This is all ahead of Charlotte’s title rematch against her long-time rival Natalya in a lumberjack match on Sunday. For the first time maybe ever, the events outside of the ring will be more interesting than the one’s inside the ring.

DARE I SAY… HAIL MOJO”

The other announced bout for the evening will be The Usos taking on the newly formed Rusev & Aiden English. Can the tag-champs stay a step ahead of Rusev Day before they all meet with the New Day and Alpha 2.0 on Sunday? The tag division has suddenly become much more exciting.

-Speaking of tag teams, don’t forget about the Bludgeon Brothers. They may speak in tongues but they are two badass dudes who will beat the hell out of you in seconds. Their outfits are cute too.

-Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley are no more. Will we see an eventual blow-off brawl between the former Hype Bros? If we do it may not occur until after Sunday’s storylines if at all. Either way, #teamMOJO

-Baron Corbin may have a beef with “The Glorious One” Bobby Roode, but Dolph Ziggler has proven to be a very effective opponent. Dolph laid out both Roode and the Lone Wolf just seven days ago, and has now been added to the United States championship match on Sunday. So he’s eating the pin right? As for this evening, nothing announced but expect some type of heat to send us to Clash.
