ROH signs top prospect Lio Rush before ROH Title shot

The day before Lio Rush challenges Jay Lethal for the ROH World Title, Ring of Honor announced that Rush has signed a contract with the company.

Rush, one of the top rising stars of the independent wrestling scene, was booked to win ROH’s Top Prospect tournament earlier this year.

“If successful against Lethal on Friday night, Lio Rush is fully prepared to assume all ROH World Championship commitments and duties. Ring of Honor is proud to add Lio Rush to our roster and wish him well against Jay Lethal,” ROH announced.
