Zack Ryder is the new Intercontinental champion.

Ryder won a seven-way ladder match to start WrestleMania 32, ending Kevin Owens’s title reign.

Ryder won the title after pushing The Miz off a ladder as Miz was poised to grab the title and win.

A super fired-up Ryder celebrated with his dad after the match.

Ryder became the betting-lines favorite for the match on Saturday when the IC Title match odds completely flipped. Ryder was tied for the biggest underdog all week until becoming the favorite on Saturday.

Before WM32, WWE released video of Zack Ryder walking into AT&T Stadium, foreshadowing his title win. Then, walking into the arena to look around at the empty seats, the ring, and the set-up.

Ryder said he once was one of the fans in the crowd at WM10 and WM20 and he wasn’t sure if he would be able to hear the fans when he made his ring entrance.
