SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Update: WWE announced Wednesday afternoon on their website that Adam Rose (Ray Leppan) has been “suspended indefinitely” following his arrest Wednesday morning.

“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Raymond Leppan has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest,” reads WWE’s statement.

Leppan was already suspended 60 days for a Wellness Policy violation, which he publicly disagreed with, citing a doctor’s note allowing him to take medication for ADHD.

In the latest incident, Leppan was arrested on a domestic violence charge late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning.

According to TMZ, Rose allegedly grabbed his wife, Cassandra, at a Florida home and prevented her from speaking to a 911 operator.

When police arrived at the home in Lutz, Fla., Leppan was charged with battery domestic violence and tampering with a witness.

Marriage records in the State of Florida show the Leppans have been married for six years since April 2010.

According to Hillsborough County police records, Leppan was arrested at 1:30 a.m. and booked at 3:30 a.m. He was placed in a jail cell at 11:06 a.m. and is awaiting a preliminary court hearing on both charges.

Leppan listed his employer as WWE and occupation as “sports entertainer.”

The booking sheet also lists an arresting home address that is not under Rose/Leppan’s name. The address on Sparrows Nest Drive is under the name of two other individuals. It’s unclear the nature of the relationship to all of the individuals.

  1. Wow. Ray has officially hit rock bottom.. Expect him to be cut fairly quickly over this especially after the already active Wellness suspension. Although I did question that because if he was on ADHD meds under MD supervision and WWE knew about it then suddenly suspended him something is wrong. However this cant be condone or allowed especially given the incident with Chris Benoit.

  2. The WWE did the right thing, like TNA did with Bram. The situation is still unclear and if the charges are cleared up I can see him working for the WWE again.
