July 23 Update: There have been big shifts in the international betting markets this weekend leading into WWE’s Battleground PPV.

It remains to be seen if there is activity on Sunday indicating even more last-minute booking decision changes…

– Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns has held steady with Ambrose as a -530 favorite to Rollins at +640 and Reigns at +640.

– Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens moved from a pick ’em to Zayn favored at -260 to Owens at +180.

– John Cena & Enzo & Big Cass remain favorites at -675 over The Club at +425.

– The Wyatts have remained favorites at -425 over WWE tag champs New Day at +320.

– IC champion The Miz and Darren Young have gone back and forth this weekend. Miz opened the favorite, suddenly shifted to underdog, and is back to the favorite at -400. D-Young went from an underdog to -230 favorite back to +280 underdog.

– U.S. champion Rusev remains a strong favorite at -900 with Zack Ryder at +500.

– Sasha Banks & her mystery tag partner are favorites at -650 over Charlotte & Dana Brooke at +420.

– Becky Lynch suddenly flipped from a big favorite of -750 to an underdog of +250 against Natalya, who is now at -350 after sitting at +450 on Saturday.

– On the pre-show, the Usos are now underdogs after opening as slight favorites over Tyler Breeze & Fandango. Usos are +175 underdogs to Breeze & Fandango at -245.

WWE’s Battleground PPV has drawn interest from Las Vegas oddsmakers to go with the usual international coverage from European sportsbooks.

Las Vegas sportsbook Bovada is offering match odds for an in-between PPV like Battleground after typically only covering big WWE PPVs.

The oddsmakers are reliable predictors of match outcomes, but the opening odds might shift when late money is bet if there are changes in WWE’s booking plans.

Current Predicted Match Outcomes based on Betting Favorites

– WWE Title match: Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins.

  • Ambrose is the favorite with Vegas and international to win the title match.
  • Las Vegas: Ambrose is currently -300 to Reigns at +300 and Rollins at +400.
  • Int’l: Ambrose is -180 to Rollins at +240 and Reigns a distant +515, reversing the challengers

– Six-Man Tag match: John Cena & Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. The Club

  • Las Vegas: Cena & Co. are favorites at -350 to The Club at +225
  • Las Vegas: Cena & Co. are -260 to Club at +180

– Six-Man Tag match: New Day vs. The Wyatts

  • Las Vegas: The Wyatts are favorites at -240 over the tag champs at +160
  • Int’l: Wyatts are also favorites at -145 to New Day at +105
