August 31 Report

WWE is looking to sign more Cruiserweight wrestlers in anticipation of the Cruiserweight division starting up on the September 19 Raw episode after the Cruiserweight tournament concludes on Sept. 14.

Another big name on WWE’s radar is Akira Tozawa, who is a potential signee.

  1. I see Raw with Neville, Enzo, Sin Cara, Xavier, Ibushi, Tajiri, Kendrick, Perkins & Metalik. Ciampa & Gargano go to Smackdown to snag a tag title, break up, and actually develop characters of their own. The rest go to NXT for a while.

    • Ibushi won’t be included, he refused to sign a contract (which annoyed WWE management), but agreed to do an occasional appearance in NXT.
