“FIELD OF DREAMS”

After weeks of multi-women matches pitting the newly formed “Welcoming Committee” against the champion and team babyface (Charlotte, Becky Lynch) tonight a new no. 1 contender will be determined. Natalya, Charlotte, Becky, Carmella, and Tamina (God help us) will clash in a Fatal Five-way in Atlanta in what should be a fun affair. Will the new alliance between the heels get tarnished at their quest for gold? Will Charlotte and Becky’s lack of partner chemistry reignite another feud between the two? Hopefully this is what gets the division back on track because currently the Red Brand and the Blue Brand are swinging the pendulum at who can make the women look dumber. #SAVEusASUKA

“CELEBRATION CONTINUES”

As of now the decision to put the title on Jinder Mahal seems like a smart one. Last week’s Punjabi celebration was an exiting ceremony that actually felt like a man celebrating, and the great numbers the segment did on YouTube has to please the WWE higher-ups. It’s almost guaranteed that the champ will make an appearance at the Philips Arena tonight, but will the Viper return to put the pressure on? With several weeks before their rematch at Money in the Bank, it only makes sense for some RKO’s to get delivered.

“MONEY HANGING IN THE SKY”

MITB as a pay-per-view has quite the reputation. Going back to 2011, the event isn’t just a one match show, but end-to-end a highly anticipated card. With that said, the lineup for this particular ladder extravaganza could be one of the greatest of all time. (IMO) Kevin Owens and A.J. Styles clearly have unfinished business, as do Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin. No offense to Ziggler, but he’s only in there to enhance. (And if he does win, I really will question my sanity.) Shinsuke is the big surprise to be added. We are so used to seeing the king damage his victims with his stiff striking abilities, but now that weapons are involved who knows what can happen. Until then, expect another round of the participants facing off against one another.

“TEAM BLUE. TEAM RU.”

-No only has Rusev’s title angle been dropped, but his Predators are already down a game in the Stanley Cup series.

-Like… remember how in EVERY match people chant “10”? Remember how when the “Perfect 10” Tye Dillinger comes out and wins people go crazy? Right… so why doesn’t this guy have a feud yet? Why isn’t HE in the MITB ladder match?

-The Usos were able to fend off the fashion police two times in a row. Who… WHO… WHO… will be able to step up and challenge the Samoans? Hint: They were on Talking Smack last week and it rhymes with Pew Pay.

-Baron Corbin needs anger management bad. He hates losing so much that he’s willing to destroy everyone to prove that he’s the best. Even though that’s childish, it’s still one of the better character developments we’ve seen on the blue brand.

-Sasha Banks will be on 205 tonight as she prepares for her mixed-tag match with Rich Swann against Noam Dar and Alicia Fox. Regardless, I’m excited.

Come on SD… let’s get back on track.
