WWE diving into deep analytical research – hires veteran executive to new SVP position

WWE is looking to join the business movement of deep analytical research to drive revenue growth.

On Monday, WWE announced the hiring of TV industry veteran Pamela J. Murrin to a newly-created position of Senior VP, Data Strategy.

Murrin’s experience comes from major companies Time Warner Cable (the past 14 years), HBO (4 years), and American Express (6 years) where she was part of various Marketing Analytics & Insights teams.

“Murrin will be a key member of the WWE senior management team, responsible for leading an adaptive and innovative data analytics practice focused on actionable insights and strategies to drive revenue growth across all of WWE’s lines of business,” WWE said in Monday’s announcement. “Murrin will also oversee WWE’s enterprise metadata management initiatives.”
