SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Seth Rollins isn’t a fan of the three-hour Monday Night Raw episodes.

In an interview on the SI Media Podcast, Rollins spoke about his feelings on the show, calling the length “obnoxiously long.”

“I think a three-hour show is just obnoxiously long every week,” Rollins said of Monday Night Raw. “Everything get’s stretched out and you have to fill three hours of television and there’s nothing to be done. That’s just how it is. I think two hours is a beautiful number for a pro wrestling show. It’s easier to make everything mean a little bit more. On Smackdown when I was there last year, I hardly ever wrestled on television, so it was kind of a big deal. You look at Roman, he hardly ever wrestles on television. So, when he has matches on PPV they feel like big deals. On Raw, I’ve wrestled in 26 five-star matches in the last two months. It’s just wild the amount of wrestling I have to do. I’d love to avoid that, but it is what it is. I like the fact that I get a lot more screen time on Monday’s because you have the extra hour, but it’s an apples and oranges type thing and I think three hours is a lot to ask every week of the viewer.”

Seth Rollins recently face Cody Rhodes at night one of WrestleMania 38 in Dallas. On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Rollins didn’t wrestle, but confronted Cody Rhodes. During Rhodes’ show opening promo, Rollins walked to the ring and shook his hand before laughing a bit and walking away.
