[HOUR ONE]

-After the “Then, Now, Forever, Together,” Michael Cole introduced the show as they showed scenes of San Antonio. He touted the Spurs as one of the best NBA teams. Then they showed C.M. Punk and A.J. Lee backstage, Maxinne Dupri with Otis and Akira Tozawa, The Judgement Day’s J.D. McDonaugh, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez, and then Stephanie Vaquer.

-They went to Cole and Corey Graves at ringside. They were quickly interrupted by Seth Rollins’s men in black hoods leaping over the barricade and moving around like malfunctioning NPCs. Seth entered and unmasked. He vowed that he will kill The Vision. He talked about smashing Paul Heyman with a chair to the back and stomping “his fat head right here on this mat.” Boos rang out and Seth looked jarred out of his state. He looked over and there was Paul Heyman, looking like he hadn’t changed out of his clothes or shaved all week. He was teared up and looked shaken, with his right eye all reddened. Fans chanted, “F— you, Heyman!” (Blame Don Callis for that?)

Seth said he doesn’t have to say it as the fans say it for him. Seth leaned on the ropes and asked Heyman if he can move a little faster. He asked if he had something to say since he had a mic in his hand. He said he hoped it was worth it. Seth said he’s made many mistakes in pro wrestling, but letting him into his inner circle was the worst. He said he’ll pay him back for his betrayal until he gone. “I will cut you out like the cancer you are,” he said.

Heyman muttered, “I wasn’t going to come out here, but I wouldn’t miss this for the world.” He asked if he interrupted his “precious little hateful promo.” He said since he F’d with him, he’s going to F with him. He yelled “FAFO! FAFO! FAF5!” Brock Lesnar then came out to his music. Seth took a few steps back to the center of the ring and observed Lesnar’s arrival. Graves told Seth to run.

Lesnar started tossing around some of the guys in black hoods. Cole noted that Seth wasn’t medically cleared to compete. Three masked guys swarmed Lesnar when he entered the ring. They were no match for Lesnar, who tossed them around. Lesnar then turned to Seth. Fans chanted, “Holy shit!”

The lights went out and Oba Femi then made his entrance. He eyed Lesnar. Lesnar looked a bit intimidated, actually. Oba entered and walked toward Lesnar. Fans chanted “Oba! Oba!” Lesnar took a few steps toward Oba. Seth then took a few steps toward Lesnar. Lesnar turned to Seth. Seth dropped down and rolled out of the ring. Oba then lifted Lesnar and powerbombed him. Graves yelled, “Holy shit! The Ruler just put down The Beast!” Oba stood over Lesnar who sold the impact and gasped. Oba placed his boot on Lesnar’s chest and raised his arms. Cole said Oba might have just accepted Lesnar’s WrestleMania Challenge.

-They cut to Cole and Graves who were over-the-top selling what they just saw. Graves said Lesnar was man-handled by Oba. Cole asked if they’re going to get Oba vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania. “God, I hope so!” said Graves.

(Keller’s Analysis: Wow, a lot there! The black hooded guys are kinda corny but adds some energy and chaos to Seth’s entrance. Heyman’s physical condition showed real commitment to the bit. Lesnar was Lesnar, intimidating as always. Oba played his role really well and is physically a rare match for Lesnar in Lesnar’s career. It seems like we’re getting Oba-Lesnar obviously, although they spent time on Seth, too. So does Oba get the WM win, but Seth gets involved and is instrumental in Lesnar losing? It’s a big spot for Oba. Cole and Graves could have dialed it down 10 percent and it would have been more believable.)

-A clip aired of C.M. Punk last week being interrupted by The Usos reacting to Punk telling Reigns he was going to bury him next to his father.

-They went back to Cole and Graves. Cole said Reigns would be out later, then switched back to talking about Oba-Lesnar. Then they narrated clips of Americano happenings at AAA Rey de Reyes on Saturday. Then they plugged the opening match. [c]

(1) EL GRANDE AMERICANO (w/Rayo, Bravo) vs. ORIGINAL EL GRANDE AMERICANO

The bell rang 23 minutes into the hour. Original (the guy with an eerie resemblance to Chad Gable) wore red, white, and blue and overhead tossed the Americano (who sorta resembles Ludwig Kaiser) over the top rope onto Rayo and Bravo as they cut to a very early break. [c]

Lots of suplexes after the break and some two counts. Original had bridged Americano’s shoulders down, but his cohorts distracted the ref so there was no pin count. Bravo loaded American’s mask with a steel plate as Original battled Rayo. Original then leaped off the top rope with a diving headbutt to the metal plate, which hurt him but apparently not Americano, as Americano draped his arm over Original’s chest for the three count.

WINNER: Americano in 9:00.

-Cole said because it was Austin 3:16 Day, they are offering 31.6 percent off tickets today only. (How do people who paid $1,000+ for their tickets feel about overpaying by hundreds?)

-They showed a black sedan drive up and out walked Roman. The Usos then approached him. He told the Usos they did the right thing. “At the end of the day, if you run your mouth, there’s gotta be consequences,” Roman said. Roman looked into the camera and said all the Bloodline should be offended at what C.M. Punk said about his father and their uncle. He said they have before and after WrestleMania, but on that weekend, C.M. Punk is his and his alone. An “OTC!” chant broke out as Roman eyed the camera directly. [c]

-Cole narrated photos of people celebrating 3:16 day and noted that all WWE merch is also 31.6 percent off.

-A video package aired on the break-up Finn Balor and rest of The Judgment Day.

-A vignette aired with Liv Morgan. She said this was her plan all along and she only played along because of his friendship with Dom. She said it made her sick calling him family. She said J.D. is going to soar now without Balor holding him down. She said Dom will get his IC Title back. She said Raquel is a future champion and she’ll take care of Vaquer, her WrestleMania opponent, later on the show. She said she will win the Women’s World Title tonight. She said without Finn, they are better than ever. “Watch us,” she said.

(Keller’s Analysis: That was well produced and well-delivered by Liv.)

-They went to Cole and Dom at ringside. Cole said they haven’t seen Dom today and he isn’t medically cleared. They showed Dom and Vikingo battling on Saturday’s Rey de Reyes on Saturday where Dom retained his AAA Mega Title after chairshots and a 619 and a top rope frog splash. Fans popped big for his win.

-Cole said Penta would defend his IC Title later against an opponent to be revealed.

-Roman and The Usos were hanging out backstage. They talked about Punk. Jimmy Uso said everything Punk is throwing isn’t landing. He said all he can say is that he’s part-time. Roman said his dad was on the road away from him, but that was his family paying dues so now he’s a full time father. He says others can call him part time, but as long as his wife and kids know he’s a full time father, he’s at peace. Roman said he doesn’t even need an apology from Punk, but they (the Usos) do. He said he’ll go get one for the family and laughed that the worst thing that could happen is C.M. Punk beating him up. He laughed like it was a ridiculous notion.

-A.J. Lee made her entrance. [c]

(2) A.J. LEE vs. BAYLEY – Intercontinental Title match

The end Bayley’s theme song played and she was already in the ring. (No one wins a title if their entrance doesn’t air.) The bell rang 52 minutes into the hour. A fan held up a sign that said, “Gunther, Retire Jerry Jones” (owner of the Dallas Cowboys). Bayley leveraged Lee’s shoulders down for a two count. Lee took control and leaped off the top rope with a crossbody. Lee dropkicked her to the floor. Bayley showed frustration. Cole said this could perhaps be her last chance to earn a spot at WrestleMania. Bayley collected herself and rolled into the ring. Lee then immediately rolled up Lee for a one count. Cole said Bayley seemed “out of sorts.” Lee applied a bridging hammer lock. Bayley tried to roll out of it.
