TNA cancels another tour

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

After canceling their Halloween Weekend tour in Louisiana last month, TNA has “postponed” their scheduled trip to India in December. Included was a PPV taping in Mumbai.

Three events were scheduled for the tour. However, TNA only announced via press release that the “One Night Only” PPV taping on December 4 had been postponed due to “logistical issues.”  Prowrestling.net reports that all three scheduled events have been scratched.

TNA’s official announcement issued late Wednesday night/Thursday morning reads:

“Multi Screen Media (MSM) and TNA Wrestling, the international professional wrestling entertainment organization, jointly announced today that the TNA One Night Only: Mumbai live event has been postponed.

The live event that was scheduled to take place on December 4, has now been postponed to 2016 to a yet-to-be decided date. The postponement is primarily due to logistical issues around the timing of the event.

As soon as the new dates are firmed up, it will be announced in an update. While TNA is looking forward to coming to India soon, MSM is geared up to host the entire entourage of TNA in India.”

TNA does not have any more dates on the schedule in 2015. TNA is scheduled for a five-day run of TV and PPV tapings in early January coinciding with the move to Pop TV.

It remains to be seen how TNA handles the TNA Title tournament without the scheduled tapings in India.

  1. The time has come to admit defeat….the writing on the wall tna.
To many good stars have departed and the product is just stale.
The losing of a good network like spike, and the failure move to destanation america shows bad judgement, as more then 60% of america can not get that network. There has to be a good liable source to sell the product. I live in California and tna has only done one live show here. And it did not draw well, it was not promoted right. The time has come dixie carter to put your ego behind you and call vince and offer him tna. Look the wwe right now is hurting on there roster, rollins, orton, nikki bella, ceasro, all hurt and down, and cena out for another month to two months. there are a few stars on the the tna roster that might be of good use to the wwe roster. Like triple h says it is for best of business.

  2. TNA’s front office has been pathetic at best but you lost me when you quote a WWE catchphrase like “best for the business.” That’s a slogan that began with Vince screwing Bret. What’s next: you Bo-leave TNA is bad,” they’d be better suited with a new “authority”?
