Dark Match: WWE tag champions New Day (Big E. & Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods) beat The Vaudevillians. Hot tag to Kofi and tag finisher off the top rope for the win. Your typical silly New Day match. Xavier even played Taps right before the finishing move.

Main Event Results

David Otunga was on commentary with Tom Phillips.

(1) Cesaro beat Curtis Axel (w/Bo Dallas and Heath Slater) via submission to the Sharpshooter. Axel reversed the Swing into a dirty pin, but didn’t get the three count. Axel then got on the ropes and got caught by an uppercut, then the Swing. Cesaro applied the Sharpshooter for a tap-out.

(2) Baron Corbin beat Sin Cara. Sin Cara barely got any traction in this match. But, he did get two out-of-ring dives in a row. Baron got the pin with his finisher.

(3) Golden Truth (Goldust & R-Truth) beat The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor). Tyler Breeze and Fandango sat ringside in the VIP section, providing an early distraction to give Ascension offense. Truth tagged in late to hit their double-team finisher for the pin. No more than a five-minute match.

(4) U.S. champion Rusev (w/Lana) beat Apollo Crews to retain the U.S. Title. Dolph Ziggler was on commentary. Lana introduced Rusev as “USA” chants rained down. Apollo got some good traction before being thrown into the ring steps. Back-and-forth taunting with the crowd from Rusev, then back-and-forth with Apollo in the ring. Apollo reversed The Accolade late, but Rusev came back with a backbreaker-style submission for a tap-out. There was an argument between Apollo and the ref on the tap-out.

(5) Darren Young (w/Bob Backlund) beat Heath Slater in the main event. Young won with the Crossface Chicken Wing. Young had new theme music for his return. After a back-and-forth, Young nailed the Gutbuster into chickenwing. Backlund yelled into the mic about how he’s going to make Darren Young great again.
