NEWS ITEMS: WWE giving away NXT live event tickets, off-air notes from Raw, indy wrestlers in Cesaro & Sheamus Raw skit

SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

-At Raw in Charlotte, N.C. last night, they taped matches for Main Event: Bo Dallas beat Sin Cara and The Shining Stars defeated Curtis Axel & Darren Young. They advertised Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns in a three-way match, but didn’t deliver, selling the idea that Seth hadn’t been cleared, so they featured Seth vs. Reigns instead. [Thanks to PWTorch reader Eric]

-Tessa Blanchard, the daughter of Tully Blanchard, was the woman at the bar in the Cesaro & Sheamus skit on Raw. Indy wrestler Zane Riley (@zanexcore) was one of the instigators in the skit who got into the fight with Cesaro and Sheamus.

-WWE is sending promotional offers for the NXT tour of Australia. PWTorch reader Peter Y. writes: “I would think that NXT in Australia is not selling too well considering the numerous emails I’ve received offering discounted tickets.” The latest offer is to “Bring a Buddy” for free, basically a two-for-one offer for the shows in Sydney, Newcastle, and Canberra. There is a max of four free tickets.
