Update on WWE’s first Philippines show in seven years, adding to 2016 int’l schedule

WWE is adding another country to their international tour schedule in the second-half of 2016.

WWE is scheduled to tour the Philippines on September 9, reports GMA News in the Philippines. Tickets go on-sale June 3.

This will be the first WWE show in the country in about seven years. “WWE is excited to return to the Philippines, giving WWE’s passionate fans the chance to see their favorite superstars in an energetic, larger-than-life event, for the first time in seven years,” said WWE int’l president Gerrit Meier in a statement.

The advertised talent roster includes current WWE World Hvt. champion Roman Reigns, A.J. Styles, Kevin Owens, WWE tag champions New Day, Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Women’s champion Charlotte, and Sasha Banks.

Injured WWE star Neville is also included in the local news report along with Tyler Breeze, Bo Dallas, and Zack Ryder.

This is the same crew that will be in London on September 7 for a “WWE Live” special event, creating quite the travel schedule.

2016 Int’l Tour Schedule

  • June 10-17: NXT U.K. Tour
  • July 1 & 2: Tokyo, Japan
  • August 10-13: Australia & New Zealand
  • August 27 & 28: Mexico
  • September 7: WWE Live in London
  • September 9: Philippines (same crew as London)
  • November: Semi-annual European Tour
  • December 2-4: Mexico
