Impact Wrestling produced their latest TV tapings tonight in Orlando, Fla. at Universal Studios. It was an eventful TV taping, and below are the Top Five Spoilers.

ProWrestling.net has full results and detailes on tonight’s first set of Impact Wrestling tapings courtesy of correspondent Jacob Cohen. The following are the five key highlights, but check out the full report HERE.

(1) Bruce Prichard returned on-air and announced “TNA” is no longer any part of the company name and it’s now just Impact Wrestling.

(2) Alberto El Patron (a/k/a Alberto Del Rio) captured the Impact Wrestling Title from Bobby Lashley.

(3) Jeremy Borash joined the play-by-play announce team, with Josh Matthews shifting to a heel commentator role.

(4) Moose beat Cody Rhodes to retain the Grand Championship.

(5) Dutch Mantel rolled out on a scooter and announced, playing off of his WWE character, that “We the People will make Impact great again.”

  1. Josh Matthews needs to be out altogether. I know Jim Ross or Tony Schiavone are too much to ask for, and bringing back Mike Tenay probably is as well. But Matt Striker, Kevin Kelly or even Todd Keneley would be a huge upgrade over Matthews.
    I’ll have to see about Borash as a play by play guy. If it gets him out of the ring announcer spot, that will be great. Bring back David Penzer.
