SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)...

Enzo Amore has been suspended by WWE pending further investigation into an alleged sexual assault last fall in Phoenix, Ariz. A woman has posted on social media detailed accusations regarding Enzo and two others, Tyler Grosso and TOOPOOR. She alleges that they “got me way f—ed up,” then Grosso and TOOPOOOR left “knowing what was about to happen.” Then she says he restrained her while she was passed out on the couch and “it happened,” apparently a reference to an invite earlier to engage in oral sex with Enzo when she was sober, which she says she did not agree to.

She says she has been dealing with mental issues and “major PTSD” from the incident ever since. “I remember bits and pieces and I have constant flashbacks.”

WWE has issued an official statement regarding the matter to media, including PWTorch: “WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended.”

ProWrestlingSheet.com reports that the Phoenix Police Department confirmed a report was filed and is still under investigation, with lab results still due.
