Smackdown Rating: Lowest rating since last October, key metrics to put in perspective dropoff, comparisons to past two years

Last night’s WWE Smackdown on USA Network drew a 1.66 rating, the lowest rating since two instances last October of 1.53 and 1.62. The rating, though, is above the year-ago number of 1.62 and the two-years-ago number of 1.65.

The 2018 average so far is 1.80, just slightly below the 1.81 average at this point last year.

The ten week rolling average headed into this week was 1.83.

Viewership last night was 2.436 million.

The show headlined with a women’s tag match, but only featured one match in the first 80 minutes of the program with several long talking segments and many videos and backstage segments.
