Third batch of “WWE 2K17” characters released – A.J. Styles WWE video game debut, Sting & HBK & Savage headline big list of playable legends & HOF’ers, Fujinami, more

2K Sports and IGN.com have released the third batch of playable characters in the forthcoming “WWE 2K17” video game.

It’s a loaded list of current and former wrestling stars. Newsworthy items include:

– The WWE video game debut of super-gamer A.J. Styles.

– Former WWE star Cody Rhodes is included as his “Stardust” character.

– The inclusion of Japanese wrestling legend/2015 WWE Hall of Famer Tatsumi Fujinami.

– Sting, Shawn Michaels, and Randy Savage are included in this batch. Gamers can pair up dream matches like A.J. Styles vs. Sting or HBK or any number of combinations.

– Living wrestling legends/WWE Hall of Famers include Alundra Blayze (Medusa), Arn Anderson, the Bushwhackers, Lita, and Trish Stratus.

– Deceased legends/HOF’ers include “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Bam Bam Bigelow, “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig, and Rick Rude.

– Current/recent NXT roster members include Alexa Bliss, Dana Brooke, and Emma.
